The studio is managed and operated cooperatively by its partners & house engineers. We also are happy to accommodate qualified engineers who want to bring in projects to record, mix, or master here. For those sessions, we can provide a house engineer to facilitate all technical needs for the session and assist as needed.

Rob Girardi
One of the co-founders of Lord Baltimore, Rob Girardi has worked as an audio engineer for more than 20 years and has numerous recording and production credits including albums for Beach House, Arbouretum, Celebration, The Death Set, The Oranges Band, The Fuses, Vincent Black Shadow, and many others. Rob has mastered a variety of material for artists including Thrushes, Motio, Frenemies, and others. Rob is also an active musician and current guitarist of Mopar Mountain Daredevils.

Branden Funkhouser
Branden Funkhouser is comfortable working with a wide range of artists including recent sessions with Rye Rye (Interscope), DC favorites US Royalty and Dot Dash, Baltimore bands The Jennifers, Red Sammy & Balkan Falcon. Branden can accommodate any performer using his expert knowledge of Pro Tools and ability to incorporate the best of current digital technology with LBR's backbone of analog processing power. This past year he recorded & produced Sketchbook, a collaborative album that featured members of Gym Class Heroes (Atlantic), The Maine (Warner Bros.) and Automatic Loveletter (Sony BMG). Branden is also a lifelong musician with various TV (PBS, Discovery Channel) and film credits.

Mickey Freeland
Mickey Freeland is a Producer, Engineer and Performer from Baltimore. As Mickey Free, he's been making beats and rapping for most of the last decade. Bringing influences of Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B and Rock together, Mickey enjoys producing and mixing for a wide variety of artists and styles. Making artists feel comfortable and relaxed in a friendly, creative environment is his goal. His production and engineering credits include work with Wye Oak, Flock Of Dimes, Dave Heumann (of Arboretum), Crazy Dreams Band, Height With Friends, Rapper Big Pooh and more.

David Andler
David Andler is an experienced recording/mixing engineer, but works primarily as a producer. He is an accomplished drummer & arranger, having studied music at both Musician's Institute and GWU. David has performed in touring bands such as Stabb, National Razor, Boneclub, David Thomas & others, and has worked with a variety of nationally known artists.
